Domain Name: Also known as the server name usually refers to the most basic part of the URL (Uniform Reference Locator). For example: www.anywebsite.com would be the domain name. www.anywebsite.blog.com would be a sub-domain of the www.anywebsite.com domain.
Domains can be registered through a variety of online websites. Some of these websites also offer web hosting for your domain as well, at an additional cost.
